As part of Vaughan Williamss 150th Anniversary celebrations, RVW150, this album will give listeners a full insight into the composers works for Violin and Piano, played by Midori Komachi and Simon Callaghan, who have performed and researched the music of 20th Century British composers to critical acclaim. Accompanying their performance will be a CD booklet including photos specially taken with the artists for this album at Leith Hill Place, Vaughan Williamss childhood home. Additionally, based on extensive research in the manuscript archives, Komachi's liner notes in this booklet illustrate how these pieces encompass the composer's complete musical development.

Recorded at Wyastone Recording Studio, Monmouth UK, on 30th & 31st July 2021

Producer: Adrian Farmer

Editor: Simon Callaghan

With a particular connection to Leith Hill Place, the 1st track Romance has inspired a production of a music video, which has been filmed with the artist at this location, and this will be released along with the album.

The CD will be available in both English and Japanese versions. The Japanese version will be released in August 2022
