RVW150: Vaughan Williams Project in the UK and Japan

A celebration of his music through cultural exchanges



As part of the international celebration of the 150th Anniversary of the English composer Ralph Vaughan Williams (1872-1958), Midori's 'Vaughan Williams Project' aimed to disseminate his music to a wider audience through album release, film, book publication and series of events in the UK and Japan.

with a special CD Booklet, including Midori Komachi’s liner notes and special photos taken at Leith Hill Place, composer’s childhood home.

Midori collaborated with Leith Hill Place, Vaughan Williams's childhood home (National Trust) on the production of two films: Romance and The Lark Ascending
