As part of her digital residency at Diamantina (Brazil), Midori was commissioned to write two works for Diamantina Youth Symphony Orchestra and Diamantina Brass Band.

These pieces will be premiered at the Vesperata Festival and the Youth Orchestra concert. 

Originally planned as an in-person event, this digital residency took place during the Covid-19 lockdown. During this time, Midori led a series of online workshops with the young musicians of the Diamantina Youth Symphony Orchestra, and composed two pieces for the orchestra.
