This digital residency has started with a filming session of my pieces written for the Diamantina Brass Band and Diamantina Youth Orchestra, with Solo Violin!
The first performance will be at the Vesperata Festival on 10th April, followed by the Youth Orchestra concert on 16th April.

Over the next few weeks, I will be writing on this blog to explore different topics and music genres in Diamantina, and record my process and stream of thoughts as I meet different local musicians.
I will be writing more about the tradition of Vesperata Festival tomorrow - now, I am about to join an online rehearsal with the brass band!
