This concert celebrates English composer Frederick Delius, who met Gauguin in 1894- Delius was the owner of Gauguin’s Nevermore. I will be exploring this colourful friendship and their links to French and Nordic cultures through the music of Delius, Ravel, Debussy and Grieg. First 30 tickets sold come with a free ticket to The Courtauld Gallery, where Gauguin's Nevermore is on display.
